Our Story

Pond Hill Preschool adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Pond Hill Preschool was established to educate children by providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. It is of utmost importance to provide children ages 15 months to 6 years old with the highest quality of education. The goal is to provide experiences and opportunities so each child can reach their fullest potential. It is essential for children to have a positive early childhood experience.

Academic Readiness tailored to every child

We understand the uniqueness of how each child learns. This understanding is evidenced by the thoughtful curriculum we've developed and deliver with love. The result is a socially and academically prepared child ready to take on their next step in education. We provide high quality, developmentally appropriate educational experiences, allowing each child to reach their fullest potential. Our curriculum incorporates the individual interests of the students, which leads to structure and consistency in their learning environment.

We are careful to gently guide and encourage children every step of the way as they learn, develop, and achieve important milestones. We pride ourselves on being amazing listeners, nurturers, and smile-makers. We are different from many other preschools in that we not only work on school readiness and other academic essentials, but we also focus on developing and building crucial soft skills for navigating the world (self-awareness, communication, problem solving, creative thinking). Our curriculum encourages self guided play, where children have the opportunity to practice those soft skills.

Community Involvement

We have worked hard to build a community within Pond Hill. It is paramount that you and your child feel welcome, safe, and part of our community. The first step, is to establish a bond with both the child and their family. We have very sincere and transparent relationships with all of our families to address any issues, challenges, and also share our triumphs. Our families also have the opportunity to interact among each other through our school events. We also pride ourselves on our contributions to the surrounding community.
